Home Instead is a trusted provider of in-home senior care services, dedicated to helping seniors live safely and independently in their own homes. We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Leduc, Alberta.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with mandatory QuickBooks experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of our growing office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping
  • Complete account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Support year-end preparation for the accountant
  • Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • QuickBooks experience is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
